Having played last week, it was time for the final instalment of the interclub matches and the reverse of the match on Wednesday, Mixed C vs Mixed B. The Mixed C team were unlucky in the last match not to get more rubbers on the board, and so had a good base to build on. Captain Joe made 2 changes from the team, while Tom in the mixed B camp made just the 1 change. Jonathan and Ben started the first rubber for Mixed C against Tom and Connor, and they got off to a good start, winning the first game 21-18, meanwhile, Megan and Kaye were also making a good start for the Mixed C also winning their first game. Connor and Tom started to find their rhythm, managing to turn the rubber around winning the next two games 21-13 and 21-15. Sarah and Maire were unable to do this, giving the Mixed C their first rubber of the night.Captain Joe then joined up with Jonathan to take on Connor and Henry, again this rubber was taken to three games, but Connor and Henry were able to secure the point. By this time, the ladies were just finishing their games, Sarah and Jess beating Megan and Jordan 21-10 and 23-21 and then Maire and Jess winning 21-6 and 21-17. Leaving the scores at 4 – 1 going into the final Mens rubber. Tom and Henry continued their good form together, winning 21-16 in both games of the rubber. The mixed games seemed to be taking the same route as the mens and ladies matches, with Connor and Maire beating Joe and Jordan 21-10, Henry and Jess winning 21-9 against Ben and Kaye and Tom and Sarah up 19-15 in their first game. But Jonathan and Megan valiantly fought back to take the first game against the mixed B pair 21-19. While Connor and Maire and Henry and Jess completed their games, to win the rubbers, Tom and Sarah won the 2nd game to take the rubber to a 3rd game. Jonathan and Megan played well to earn themselves another rubber on the board for the team. This means that Megan was involved in all the rubbers won by the Mixed C team over the two games.
