The Brackley Town Mixed ‘C’ team continued their run of games with a trip to Marlborough, this was the fourth week in a row the mixed C team had a Match. Coming off of the back of a tight game against Cramic, the Mixed C were confident they could make it a close game with Marlborough. The Ladies started well, they won all of their rubbers, but the men were unable to match the Ladies achievement making the match all square going into the mixed rubbers 3-3. Marlborough proved to be too good for the Brackley team to cope with, and they took the remaining 3 rubbers to take the match 6-3. The Mixed C team now have a few weeks break before a tough test against Feathers A in the first round of the Knock Out cup on the 30th Of October. Will the home advantage and a handicap in their favour help them to pull off the victory?
